We had my aunts over for dinner before they left for Michigan and Illinois. I'll be honest, since I grew up so far away from my extended family, I feel like I was totally jipped! My aunts are so fascinating. My Aunt Yve is an AMAZING quilter. Really turns it into an art form. She made a quilt each when Cole and Charlotte were born and they are just gorgeous. Both my Aunt Bonnie and Aunt Yve design beautiful jewelry and they let me pick some out to keep. Love it! AND...both Aunts know a lot about wine and gourmet cooking. They are inspiring and I wish I had months (and years!) to learn from them!
