Last week we took a walk back to the flower fields. The weeds are dense among the little path and there a lot of crickets nestled in there. Brendan kept laughing and telling Charlotte there was something in there. She knows Brendan's antics and while she wasn't completely scared she didn't know whether to believe him or not and kept looking back. That's when Mommy steps in, tells Daddy to stop it, and reassures Charlotte that in fact, there are no monsters in the weeds, only crickets! Nightmares, averted!
