Every year we are lucky to find a robin's nest somewhere buried in one of the bushes. This year they are in the rhododendron by the pool. The nest itself is so beautiful and intricate but the blue eggs inside it are just gorgeous. I didn't enhance the photograph- the eggs are really that blue.
And here they are...just days old.

You are so lucky to have that robin family in your yard! I just love the pretty blue of the eggs, I wonder if our human eggs are that pretty! Probably not. bummer
